If you’ve ever been into an Hermès store, you’ve no doubt strolled along the glass cases peering in to look for scarves, only to be startled by the wide array of everything else under the sun you can put an H on and make covetable.
When I was in Paris at the 45 Rue Faubourg flagship store, I stood behind a petite Asian lady, my VISA card in my trembling hand, waiting to purchase the single smallest thing sold in the store. At 88€, a slim, burgundy neck scarf with tiny letters scattered over it: H, E, R, M, and S.
But the yards of black velvet trays holding their many enamel bracelets and leather cuffs did not go unnoticed.

I have a bit of a leather cuff fetish. It all started with 3 Billy Kirk cuffs.
Maybe it’s because I’m watching Eli and Robby in some sort of knock-down, drag-out fight to the death on the living room floor. They have the most phenomenal collection of cuffs ranging from sturdy, gladiator crazy to streamlined, equestrian and elegant:

Ano bracelet, $590.

Collier de chien, $1425.

Etriviere bracelet, $440.

My personal favorite, Rivale, $480.

Rush, $480.
