As promised, documentation of Skidmore’s Fun Day 2010 + some caftan shots I couldn’t resist posting. [This Milly number made her C+C debut here for some cocktails on my dad’s boat.] Been hot as Hades during this front that’s pushing through our fair town. While to Rob this directly translates to enjoying icy air conditioning, to the vast majority of Skimore students, it translated to less clothing.

For the purposes of comparing and contrasting, they were half-naked and frolicking while we were celebrating one perfect baby’s entrance into the world like total grown-ups. [See Rob reading a poem below. I totally made him wear that seersucker vest.] Little niece, if you happen to be attending anything like this in 18 years, a. you’d better behave! and b. ask your Aunt Carey for what will then be “vintage” festival gear. I will outfit you to the nines.
I was itching all over to take off my high heels and bolt out onto that field.
