My favorite look from the collection:
I love the palette of this collection, like a beautiful bruise—a really nasty, purple one with yellow-green edges. If this is brutal, nose-shattering assault to the face, I’ll take it.
The look on the left would be perfect for me, in an alternate universe where I prefer cigarettes over food.
Acid green = surprisingly, extremely desirable.
This black coat on the left is calling out to me. It’d be the thing I’d throw on over everything, no matter what. Like that coat with the enormous fox fur collar I wore everywhere in college—including over a lace negligée, with sunglasses and bare feet while stopping into a gas station somewhere outside of Washington, D.C. one Sunday. I vaguely remember a mother glaring at me while placing her hand over her son’s eyes.
I’m really into this gypsy resurgence for Fall ’10. I’m also now scouring the Internet for metallic floor poufs, jangly copper wind chimes, and a leather stuffed foot rest shaped like a pig. Just livin’ the dream.
