[Vintage fox fur shawl + Kenneth Jay Lane ring (ebay) + TR jeans + LL Bean Duck boots + J.Crew tee + blazer]
Just dabbling around in some trends from Spring and Summer because I’m slow like that. Oh, and this is Upstate New York—I’m not exactly rubbing shoulders with tons of peeps in vintage camel hair coats with PS1’s to remind me how off the mark I am. (That’s a positive, UNY!) I like this though because it feels diplomatic… like first lady material.
I wore this on a little trip to a farm where we watched our niece navigate kiddie activities just a smidge too old for her adorable, bumbling body. There were pumpkins and zip lines… and if I can ever get the photos off of the black hole of Rob’s laptop, I’ll post them so you can see me on a John Deer tricycle track leaving my poor niece in the dust.
You’d think fantastic fall foliage was the most eye-catching visual around these parts, but it’s actually not. Try political yard signs. I’m pretty over it. But I guess they’re better than warty pumpkins on doorsteps; I really hate warty pumpkins. On to the next holiday!
