Meet Team Corks + Caftans.
With nonstop rounds peaking at 63 back and forths, the team was in top form today, diving for shots and running for backward smashes under a beating sun. Roberto in red, exhibiting some stellar short-shot rebounds; Bearess in blue, reigning in rogue, wild hot potatoes with smooth, sound strokes. Hey, listen up: it’s getting warm out and I’m not sure if this means anything to you, but it sure means something to me. And I’m not talking about an expansion of my budget for disposable razors. Which there is…
It means walking to work in the morning, actual leaves on the trees on our street, eating outside at various patios on Broadway, pseudo-acceptable alcoholism due to a 24-hour feel of “festivity,” and outdoor parties!!!!
One of which I’m going today! Unfortunately I don’t have this dress to wear (with a suede fringed vest and my Scorah Pattullo gladiator sandals), but I’ve got something equally excellent in mind. Stay tuned, I’m going to review the red carpet offerings Chez Osterhout, and you’re going to like it!
Aside from a Bud Light draft at Stadium Cafe, nothing says summer more than daisy chains on chiffon.
